Job Description

Our client is Balttranslaine Ltd. - a logistics company, working locally and internationally. The company operates in the majority of European countries and outside of Europe. The customers are traders, wholesale companies, independent and chain retailers, shops, etc. The goal is to keep the import and sales department running in an efficient and profitable manner, to increase customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention, and simplify the routine of the export manager.  For now, we are searching for an energetic person, committed to goal achievement with strong logistic experience.

We are currently looking for the best: 

Areas of responsibility:

  • Supervise day-to-day logistic operations to supplier and customer side in Europe, cooperation with transport companies;
  • Work closely and daily assist to import & Sales department in an international environment;
  • Ensure efficient communication and collaboration with main customers, partners, all companies departments;
  • Operate with data, numbers, deadlines, processes, calculations, entering data into the accounting system;
  • Take ownership of customers issues and follow problems through to resolution; 
  • Analyze statistics and compile accurate reports; 
  • Strong patience, accuracy, and ability to think logically, maintain an orderly workflow according to priorities;

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the logistics/transportation industry;
  • Superior oral and written communication skills in Russian, Latvian & English;
  • Have worked with numbers and understand basic mathematics needed for reporting, analysis and differentiation purposes;   
  • To be a team player with good communication, interpersonal and project presentation skills;
  • Persistence personality with ability to work independently and good time management skills;
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills;
  • Customer service orientation and higher education required;
