Semi-automatic welding MIG/MAG

 WELDER OF SHIP PIPELINES

 Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Welder of Ship Pipelines to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and a thorough understanding of shipbuilding processes, specifically related to the installation and repair of pipelines on maritime vessels.

Responsibilities:

- Welding of ship pipelines.

- Production and repair of carbon steel pipelines.

- Welding of ferrous metal pipes under X-ray, processes 111/135/136 (MMA/MAG).

- Semi-automatic welding MIG/MAG.

- Installation/dismantling of pipelines for various purposes on a ship.

- Quality control of welded joints.

- Cleaning, preparation and treatment of surfaces before welding.

- Observance of technological charts and welding regulations.

- Working in confined spaces and at heights.

Qualifications:

  • Professional school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in welding or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in welding, preferably in a shipyard or maritime environment.
  • Proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging environments, such as confined spaces and at heights.
  • in MMA and MAG processes.
  • - MIG/MAG semi-automatic welding.
  • - Knowledge of technical drawings and WPS.
  • - Ability to differentiate welding consumables and select them according to the task.
  • - Possession of manual and mechanised tools for metal preparation and processing.
  • - Ability to work in a team, responsibility and discipline.
  • - Knowledge of safety rules, labour protection and fire safety.
