Chief Accountant

 Foreign Trade Accountant
 
Responsibilities:

Maintaining full accounting and tax records in accordance with Latvian legislation;
Work with customs declarations and shipping documentation;
Preparation and filing of accounting/tax/statistical/customs reports;
Tracking changes in Latvian tax legislation;
Preparation of year-end and quarterly reporting;
Interaction with Latvian tax and supervisory authorities;
Work with EDS system.

Working conditions:

Full-time employment, 40 working hours per week;
Remote work (providing the necessary equipment);

Salary: from 2200 gross

Requirements:
Knowledge of Latvian currency legislation;
Knowledge of Latvian customs code and tax code;
Must have a detailed understanding of customs declaration and shipping documentation;
Knowledge of customs clearance rules.
