Job Description

Freight forwarder & Logistics Sales representative 

Tasks:

- Search for new Clients, control and support of existing contacts, having own client base is welcome;
- Calculation of the cost of transportations, profitability of the project;
- Work with transport companies, control of timely delivery of goods;
- Planning, selection and coordination of transportations;
- Formation of optimal routes and methods of delivery;
- Searching for transport for cargo dispatch, control of cargo loading, keeping documentation;
- Constant monitoring of the transport services market;
- Handling claims from Clients/Carriers - upon receipt;
- Attendance of events related to client meetings;

Requirements to the candidate:

- Preferably higher education in the field of transport and logistics, or higher economic education;
- Mandatory experience in sales in logistics;
- Knowledge of the basics of economics and organisation of transport;
- Knowledge of MS Office at a high level;
- Responsibility, stress resistance, analytical mind, ability to negotiate, ability and desire to work for results, ability or desire to learn to work in a team;
- Knowledge of Latvian, Russian and English languages;
- Hard work, punctuality, persistence in business (bringing to the end of any started project), self-control, neatness in business, desire and aspiration for training, additional development in the field of management, logistics, loyalty to the company/management, adequacy in everyday behaviour at the workplace;
- Non-standard thinking and creativity - welcome;
- It is desirable to have a driving licence of category B.
