Veterinarian for dairy cattle
Cattle Veterinarian responsibilities:
• Ability to show compassion to caws
• Outstanding dexterity in handling all animals while performing precise tasks
• Ability to react quickly and make decisions under pressure about the wellbeing of an animal
• Strong fondness and understanding of animals
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of animal behavior
• Ability to work extended hours and on-demand
• Ability to use medical technologies during diagnosis, research and surgery of animals
Job brief
We are looking for a High educated & experienced Cattle Veterinarian to diagnose and treat our caws (2000 caws)
Experience with PC: DairyPlan, AllFllex, and DelPro systems
What does a Cattle Veterinarian do?
The health exam includes checking the animal's heart, lungs, eyes, legs and feet, intestinal sounds and manure, and teeth.
Once the animal is declared healthy, the veterinarian fills out a health certificate.
Cattle need to be vaccinated to protect them from potentially deadly diseases.
