We are looking for a highly reliable Accountant who can independently manage monthly closing, ensure accurate VAT/Intrastat reporting and maintain clean, structured financial data. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional who values order, deadlines and precision.

Key Responsibilities

• Full monthly closing by the 5th working day

• VAT declarations, Intrastat and EDS reporting

• Bank, AP/AR, payroll and expense reconciliations

• Balance sheet control, OSV, audit support

• Ensuring compliance with Latvian and EU accounting standards

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of hands-on accounting experience

• Strong VAT and Intrastat knowledge

• Experience with EDS, EU cross-border VAT rules

• Confident Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, formulas)

• Experience with NAV / SAP / Dynamics — an advantage

• High accuracy, responsibility and independence
